Translation and Consultation

The Choson History Society supports the community of editors and translators from Korean to English. As part of its mission to connect and promote scholars inside and outside the university system, it also promotes conversation and collaboration between different academic and linguistic communities.

The Translation and Consultation Service helps scholars find fruitful, collaborative relationships in international Korean Studies. It connects junior scholars, including PhD candidates and recent graduates, with on-going projects in search research, translation, or editorial services.

Chosŏn History Society provides a contact space for scholars interested in having their drafts edited or translated into English, for skilled editors and translators with experience in specific academic fields related to Korean Studies, and for academic authors interested in consultations with peers and/or experts for their projects.

The scholars listed here have all been vetted for their area expertise, academic qualifications, and prior experience.
