Online Zoom Talks
Participate in curated online talks in an area that interests you! Our community members come from many different backgrounds, focusing on both general and specific disciplines.
Our zoom talks will be focused, 30-45 minute presentations based on distinct, individual research and designed to stimulate feedback and discussion from both academic and non-academic audiences. Although talks will primarily be targeted at participants in existing public and private historical social media groups, our team will carefully monitor registration and participant conduct to ensure that each talk provides a safe environment for the sharing of ideas.
Diversity of viewpoints is extremely important to us, and so as we invite participants from both individual and institutional networks. We will give priority to scholars working in historically underrepresented areas, regions, and contexts, including disciplines such as historical linguistics, philology and archaeology.
If you are interested in giving a talk, please let us know - we’re excited to hear your proposals!
